You may have heard about the work undertaken at a 225 hectare fire in the South West by our state’s amazing volunteer firefighters.
What you may not have heard about is the work being undertaken in our north.
Since January 6, over 100 volunteers from brigades all over the state are now on their second rotation of deployment near Carnarvon battling a colossal 294,753 hectare fire in brutal hot and trying conditions.
On behalf of the Bushfire Volunteers association, we wish you all a safe return and thank you for your ongoing contribution to the WA community.
