The Association of Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades (WA) Inc (Bushfire Volunteers) is a not-for-profit registered Charity and the Government's prescribed representative organisation for our 550+ Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades. While there is an enormous amount of work to be done to ensure the safety and support of the 26,000 volunteers who provide the vast majority of Western Australia's emergency services, the association operates with an extremely lean administration supported by a hard-working Committee of volunteers (who are also active volunteer Bush Fire Brigade members in their own communities). At present, the association relies on a government grant of around $116,000 per annum and donations from individuals and supportive corporations. Your financial support will help us help the diverse and invaluable volunteer bush fire brigade members who routinely leave their families, homes and workplaces to protect those of others.
