Bushfire Volunteers has been working with key stakeholders after being contacted by a number of brigades following the emission of toxic chemicals from a timber treatment business that was severely impacted in the recent Bridgetown fire.

The substance has been identified as Copper Chromium Arsenate (CCA) used in treated timber.
