Well, never let it be said that our incredible 26,000 women and men who are the backbone of WA’s largest emergency service are not multi-talented!
We’ve known it for a very long time, but some others might need a little reminder every now and then that there is a lot more to being a bush fire volunteer than “putting the wet stuff on the hot stuff.”
And here are a few members of the amazing Quinns Rocks Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade who have today proven their talents extend well beyond holding hoses – taking the opportunity to spread important fire safety messages far and wide via the local community radio station OB at the Mindarie Festival today.
Well done guys and girls! Super proud of you for everything you do and thanks heaps for sharing this unusual part of your role with us all.
