Do you have a business or connection that might be able to donate a prize for a silent auction fundraiser?

The Association of Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades (AVBFB) is pleased to have been nominated as the preferred charity of the Liquor Stores Association of Western Australia (LSAWA) for this year.

As well as potentially being able to provide support for local Brigades in regional WA, the agreement provides us with the opportunity to raise funds for our important work via a silent auction the LSAWA will hold on our behalf at its Annual Awards night at Crown on 12 October. The event is attended by many hundreds of business people and corporate and political supporters and is a great way for us to not only raise some important funds, but also our profile.

If you run a business or have a contact that we can contact to seek a prize that could be raffled, please let us know ASAP with an email to eo@avbfb.org.au

All income will be received by the AVBFB to help fund its important work in supporting and advocating for the 26,000 amazing women and men of WA’s Volunteer Bush Fire Service. The LSAWA does not receive any portion of the funds raised.

NOTE: The sponsorship agreement encourages other opportunities for benefits sent directly to Brigades via their local independant liquor store, but we must make this auction a success in order to proceed.

About the LSAWA

The Liquor Stores Association of WA (LSAWA) is a not-for-profit association that works with government and community to represent the interests of Western Australian Liquor Stores. The LSAWA does not represent large supermarket chain stores and in recent times has made significant progress in leading the liquor industry toward a responsible and sustainable future that ensures balance between product availability and responsible supply.

Sponsor's message

The AVBFB carefully considered this sponsorship proposal before accepting it and agreed without hesitation after learning about its strong regard for genuine, local community-focussed small business and vulnerable people.

Please support this venture – the AVBFB is desperately under-resourced and will use every dollar raised for the benefit of our amazing members.
